We’ve spoken to hundreds upon hundreds of business owners and understand the struggle they face to find the right PPC agency. We also know how important it is for them to have an agency they can trust to get the job done, so they can focus on the rest of their business.
We also know the pain of working with the “wrong” clients as an agency. Nobody wins, and it’s a big waste of time and resources for everyone involved. So we made the process easier for business owners (and ourselves) to know whether we are the right agency for the job and if they would be a good client for us.
We always begin the discovery process with a Google Ads Audit for all potential clients with an existing Google Ads account. In many cases we will do the Audit after our initial discovery call for a flat fee BEFORE we take you on as a client. Our findings typically pay for themselves many times over whether we work together or not as long as our advice from the audit is followed. We also do this for several other reasons.
1) We can see what needs to be done in the account and determine if we are the best agency to do it. If it’s something we don’t feel confident we can handle, we’ll let you know upfront before any additional money exchanges hands.
2) It helps us give fair and accurate cost estimates before you sign an agreement. No one likes “surprise fees”. In most cases, there are no extra fees for work needed outside of our normal fee structure, but if the audit reveals issues outside of the normal scope of work (like problems with conversion tracking or website issues) the costs can be addressed early on.
3) You’ll understand our plan to optimize your campaigns and the timeline involved. It also helps you see that we know what we’re talking about. We want clients to understand the strategy and time it will take to execute so we are all on the same page. It’s a more transparent approach for everyone and helps us set expectations with clients early on.
Before we ever start an audit, or take you on as a new client, we take the time to understand your business and the goal of your paid search campaigns. Is it higher sales volume or lower cost per sale? (Everyone says “Both!”, but one is usually more of a priority). Is it breaking into new markets or service offerings? These are important things to know.
This also helps us know whether the goal is realistic for us to achieve or something we are not going to be able to help you with. If we don’t think we can help you reach your goal we won’t waste your (or our) time and money.
We love win-win relationships with clients. That means more than just making them money, it’s also about setting the right expectations for the business relationship, and enjoying the clients we choose to work with.
To help business owners get to know us a little better, we’ve created a handy-dandy list of FAQs that answer questions like: what can new clients expect, who we work well with (and who we don’t), how we often communicate, etc.
This is an easy way to help you get a feel for who we are and save you a lot of time if you don’t think we’re the right agency for you.
